ABOUT US

OUR MISSION

The Seahorse Conservancy is a locally focused, globally minded conservation group dedicated to protecting and serving coastal marine and estuarine ecosystems through project based service and education outreach.

We connect with local watermen and fisheries through to coordinate rehabilitation projects that have environmental and economic benefits.  We believe that Seahorses are the canary in the coalmine of coastal marine ecosystems and that estuarine water quality is the key to the health of coastal marine ecosystems.

OUR VISION

We envision a world where shallow waters are thriving habitats for seahorses and humans alike.

We strive to make this vision a reality through targeted conservation and rehabilitation projects.  Through education outreach we connect local communities and fisheries to the environmental and economic benefits our projects.

OUR TEAM

We have grown up on the water and have been learning from local watermen for 20 years.

We strive to make this vision a reality through targeted conservation and rehabilitation projects.  Through education outreach we connect local communities and fisheries to the environmental and economic benefits our projects.
